I’ve recently suffered a loss of a friend and patient. While I was surfing around on the web tonight, I found this poem and it’s just seemed to really fit my emotions today. I hope you find it helpful if you’ve lost a loved one…
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry, the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too.
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name and
took me by the hand.
And said my place was ready in Heaven far above,
And that I’d have to leave behind, all those
things I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye,
For all my life, I’d always thought, I didn’t want to die.
I had so much to live for, so much yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while,
I’d say goodbye and kiss you, and maybe
see you smile.
But then I fully realized, that could never be,
For emptiness and memories, would take
the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things, I might
miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was
filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through Heaven’s gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
from his great golden throne.
He said, “This is eternity, and all I’ve
promised you.
Today your life on Earth is past, and
here it starts anew”.
“I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last,
And since each day’s the same day, there’s
no longing for the past”.
“But you have been so faithful, so trusting and so true,
Though there were times you did some things,
you know you shouldn’t do”.
“But you have been forgiven, and now at
last you’re free,
So won’t you take my hand now and share
My life with Me”.
So when tomorrow starts without me, don’t
think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me, I’m right here
in your heart.

Exercises For Hypertension
Where can you begin when you’re looking to do some exercises for hypertension? A lot of people would get a little nervy at the prospect of having to start exercising if they previously hadn’t done too much. But in reality, exercises for hypertension don’t have to result in a drastic change to your lifestyle at all!
When you’re looking to lower that hypertension level, there is no better way to start than just getting out there and doing a little bit every day. We’re talking anything from walking to gardening to cleaning! Anything that involves physical activity is all going to contribute toward your lowered hypertension. This means that you can rule out the 100m sprint, because that’s highly unnecessary!
So what kind of exercises for hypertension are the best when you just want to start off slowly? Well, my personal suggestion is that you go down to your local sports center and get swimming. Almost everyone lives near to a public swimming pool, so it’s easy enough to access and low cost. Swimming is an excellent exercise for the older individual suffering from hypertension because it applies virtually no force on the muscles like running does. This means that you’ll be able to keep up your exercise routine every day without feeling sore or tired.
If you’re looking for some free methods that don’t involve any travel, there’re roads right outside your door, so why not go for a brisk walk? This is an ideal exercise for those that get easily bored as it allows you to explore the area while you walk and find exciting new places. If you make the effort to get up earlier, you’ll be walking amid the silence of the dawn too which is always pleasant.
Whatever exercises for hypertension you choose to take up, just remember that the only way they will have an effect is if you stick to them. If you motivate yourself and put your heart into going out every day for a little exercise, you will gradually start to see that hypertension descending for good. So get active and remember to watch what you eat – each day will only make you stronger!

There are plenty of effective ways for you to lower hypertension that don’t involve severe lifestyle changes. But how, exactly, do we begin suffering from hypertension in the first place? Well, it’s quite simple. In this day and age of fast food, extensive work schedules and easily accessible transport, a lot of people are running the risk of developing heart diseases.
As we continue to consume these junk foods that are fast, but also high in saturated fat, our arteries begin taking the brunt with the laying down of fatty layers along the walls. This restricts the bloodflow through the arteries and inevitably results in hypertension. Combine this with a lack of exercise and the problem gets worse. Since you’re not expending this excess energy your body doesn’t need, it ultimately gets stored as fatty deposits. The final ingredient in this recipe for disaster is stress. Now stress comes in many forms, but the kind of extended stress that promotes high blood pressure usually originates from the workplace. If you’re working long hours and have a lot resting on your head, you’ve no doubt been aware of that shackle-like feeling stress evokes.
So how might you even consider to start changing this heavy going lifestyle and begin lowering hypertension levels? Well, you’re going to have to structure your life a lot better. Firstly, it’s a far better idea to make your own lunches for work. Sure, it takes a little effort, but if you’ve got even 5 minutes spare each night you’ll be able to make a healthy meal for lunch the next day. There’re two positive aspects to this: firstly, you know exactly what you’re putting in your mouth. Secondly, as an added bonus, you’ll save money in the long term.
So what about exercise? Well, the first myth to clear from your head is that you need to go for a 50 minute sprint before work. That’s far from the case. When we’re thinking about ways of lowering hypertension, every little thing you do counts toward the big picture. So don’t kill yourself, just come up with a light routine that you can commit to. Think of it this way: Going for a 10 minute jog every day is far better than going for a half hour jog once a week. Just start things slow and get the ball running. You’ll soon feel the benefits to your fight against lowering hypertension in no time.
So our final obstacle is your job. Now, this one isn’t something you can just drop, so we’re going to have to work with it in order to overcome it. What I want you to do is think about the last reason you got stressed out over something work related. 9 times out of 10 it’s down to meeting deadlines, so the real problem here is time management. With time management, you just need to set yourself little targets as with the exercise. Never get bogged down and take a break as soon as you feel your mind start to wander. Remember that the brain works most effectively in 45 minute bursts, so have a little daydream or check your email. Anything that takes your mind off work and relaxes you.
The most effective way of lowering hypertension is through relaxing. So take advantage of your alone time with aroma therapeutic baths and candles. You could even grab yourself a sneaky power nap. But, in a nutshell: be healthy, exercise lightly and take your mind off work with your hobbies. These are the three keys to lowering hypertension.
